Atomic Style Brass and Wood Table Lamp

 
An atomic styled, mid-century lamp by Light House Lamp & Supply Company from Snowdrift Antiques.
 
The Light House Lamp & Supply Company was based in Los Angeles, CA. They made high end lighting for Heifetz among others in the 1950s and 1960s.
 
This lamp is marked “Light House Lamp & Supply Co.” and given its “atomic” styling is probably from the 1950s. It features 3 wooden legs that are attached to a brass, flask shaped center section. The brass neck continues up to a funnel shaped, ribbed milk glass shade.  The short drum shaded is very textured with a woven fabric in various shades of beige. It has a 3 way socket and its original cord and plug.
 
This lamp is in excellent vintage condition.  The brass is in excellent condition with less than age appropriate wear.  The shade is in excellent vintage condition.
 
It stands 32 inches tall with a base diameter of 5 ½ inches. The shade diameter measures 18 inches.
 
This unusual and beautiful piece with its 1950s styling will be a focal point for any mid-century space.
