Mid-Century Mushroom Lamp by Laurel Lamp Company
This very cool floor lamp was produced in the 1960s-70s by the Laurel Lamp Company of Newark, NJ. It features a brushed stainless steel rod shaped body that gracefully flares out to a weighted base. It is called a mushroom lamp for obvious reasons.
It stands 57 inches tall including the frosted glass globe. The globe is flattened and provides a nice soft glow. The globe measures 12 inches wide. A small rotating switch turns it on and off. The base is a beautiful brushed metal finish.
This lamp is in excellent vintage condition. There are no cracks or chips to the globe. The lamp base is in excellent condition.
This is a beautiful work of mid-century art that also functions as a floor lamp.
