Travertine Stone and Glass Coffee Table

A mid-century coffee table with a travertine base and glass top, offered by Snowdrift Antiques.

This is a very cool and unusual coffee table, probably from the late 1970s or 1980s. It is unmarked so we don’t know who made it. Typically, with pieces like this the natural travertine stone is from Italy.

This table features three slabs of travertine stone connected together to make a table base. A thick glass slab can be centered or set off center.

The base measures 28 x 28 x 14” high. The thick glass top measures 48” square.

It is in excellent vintage condition.
