Vintage Metal Wall Art

A vintage, metal wall art in a Sunburst style by Jerry Pfannenstiel, offered by Snowdrift Antiques

This is a beautiful piece of metal work by Evergreen, Colorado artist Jerry Pfannenstiel (1941-2009).

This vintage piece is made of copper and was probably produced in the late 1990s to early 2000s. It features a pair of concentric, stacked circles in the middle with hundreds of copper rods radiating out from them.   The fact that the metal center rings are stacked gives a nice three-dimensional effect to the piece. Although I don’t know it’s official name, I like to call it “Sunburst”.

This piece measures 42 inches in diameter. On the back are 4 loops for easy hanging.

The piece is in excellent vintage condition.  I find no missing rods.

This is an excellent piece of art that will add a punch of mid-century style to any room.
