Vintage Multi-Tiered Plant Stand

A mid-century, tiered plant stand offered by Snowdrift Antiques.
 
This tiered plant stand was probably made in Germany in the 1960s, possibvly the 1970s. It is unmarked, but it is very typical of the German style of multi-tiered plant stands.
 
In addition to the large base, it has 6 individual platforms to hold your plants. It has 4 pieces of string (probably polyester) across the wooden frame to provide interest and mid-century style. The formica has a glossy, woodgrain pattern and each piece has a gold tone metal band as an accent. Angled, tapered legs complete the look.
 
This piece is in excellent vintage condition. It has some minor age appropriate wear in a couple of places.  On the top tier, in back there is some rippling to the formica due to water.  See image 6. Again, in back and mostly out of sight on the main base, there is some discoloration to the formica for the same reason. See image 7.
 
This is a large piece, standing 36 inches high by 29 wide.
